ABOUT US
PharmaLIG is a network of local communities or LIGs (Local Interest Group) throughout the world. Each PharmaLIG is dedicated to the sharing of project management best practices within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO and Medical Device industries.
PharmaLIG was first organized in San Francisco in January 2004 as a local extension of the PMI PharmaSIG (Pharmaceutical Specific Interest Group) and has grown since into a separate non-profit 100% volunteer based organization, which remains aligned with PMI and PMBOK principles and the work of the PharmaSIG. A key difference between PharamLIG and PharmaSIG is the composition of its membership. PharmaLIG does not have any membership fee and is open to all (PMI and non-PMI) members, as long as they are connected with the discipline of project management and/or above-listed industries.
